Hello there!
I am Chaewon Yun, an Illustrator and Graphic Designer from Korea, currently based in Edmonton, Canada.
I went to art school back home, and I studied and worked in Japan for three years before I immigrated to Canada in 2022. After that, I started my design career in Vancouver. Since I was little, I have always adored art and history. They helped me become an artist who loves creating art with storytelling, and seeing my work make a social impact in communities gives me great motivation and a sense of reward.
In my free time, I love reading, drawing short cartoons, and playing video games. These hobbies often inspire my design ideas and help me see stories and characters in everyday life.
Overall, I would describe myself as adventurous, and I am excited for my new adventure in my new home, Edmonton.

About Oyasumi Island
Oyasumi (おやすみ, goodnight) Island is a fantasy island I came up with when I had bad insomnia in my teens and early twenties. It started from a simple thought, wanting to go somewhere I could finally sleep peacefully without worrying about my future.
With this brand, I want to share that feeling through my art. Something calm, cozy, comforting and gives you a little giggles. The colours are inspired by land and ocean in an island, like a place you can rest your mind for a while.
